Automatically collected data
Like most websites, our hosting environment may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and request timestamps as part of normal server operation and security logging.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Analytics cookies, if enabled, are used only for aggregated, privacy-respecting site measurement.
AI Agent widget
A floating “AI Agent” icon appears site-wide as a UI placeholder. It is not currently functional and does not process chat messages or personal data today. When the planned Amy Agent plugin becomes active, this Privacy Policy will be updated before any chat data is collected.
What we do not collect (today)
This site does not currently offer newsletter signup, user accounts, or registration. We do not store account passwords.
Why We Process Personal Data
We process personal data to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the Contact form
- Evaluate project submissions from the Submit Your Idea form and follow up when appropriate
- Operate, secure, and maintain the website
- Understand aggregated site usage if analytics are enabled
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Legal Basis (GDPR)
Depending on the context, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to business inquiries, evaluating project submissions, securing the site, and understanding basic site performance in a way that does not override your rights
- Consent — where required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy)
- Contract / pre-contractual steps — when processing is needed to discuss or prepare a potential engagement you requested
How Long We Keep Data
As a default policy (to be confirmed with legal counsel before launch):
- Contact and idea submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond and for a limited follow-up window — typically up to 24 months after the last meaningful correspondence, unless a longer period is required for an active project, legal claim, or accounting obligation
- After that window, data is deleted or anonymized where feasible
- Server / security logs are retained for a shorter operational period consistent with Hostinger’s hosting practices and our security needs
Exact retention may be adjusted in a signed project agreement or after legal review.
Who May Receive Your Data
Personal data submitted through this site may be processed by:
- OGC NewFinity team members who need it to respond
- Hostinger, our EU-based hosting provider, acting as a data processor for website hosting and related infrastructure
- Independent collaborators, freelancers, or partner agencies only when necessary to evaluate or deliver work you requested — under confidentiality expectations appropriate to the engagement
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for unrelated marketing lists.
International Transfers
Website hosting is provided by Hostinger (EU-based). We aim to keep personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA) where practical. If a transfer outside the EEA ever becomes necessary, we will use appropriate safeguards required under GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) and update this policy accordingly.
Security Measures
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we handle, including:
- Sanitized form input on Contact and Submit Your Idea forms
- Nonce verification, honeypot, and timestamp anti-spam checks on those forms
- Delivery of form messages via WordPress
wp_mail()to contact@ogcnewfinity.com - No plaintext password storage, because this site has no user account system
